It only makes sense, then, that their determination to serve their customers would include the importance of catering to guests with food allergies or intolerances. Following several encounters with Betsy Craig, MenuTrinfo®’s CEO, at conferences and events, Doug Davis, Marriott’s Senior Director of Global Food Safety, saw the potential for a working relationship between the companies. That relationship began officially in April of 2017, with menu consulting at the Courtyard and Aloft brands of Marriott’s numerous properties.
Our partnership has flourished ever since. MenuTrinfo® initially helped to prepare Marriott for menu labeling, as well as working to develop reliable food allergen charts for use in some of their hotel brands. We have since moved into nutrition analysis, menu identification, training for allergens, gluten-free dining and other intolerances through our flagship AllerTrain™ suite of courses. Additionally, our AllerTrain™ program is linked on Marriott’s internal training platform, which is also ANAB-accredited and #1 in the industry.
