The AllerTrain® Suite of courses includes multiple food allergy training options. In addition to AllerTrain®, AllerTrain® Lite and AllerTrain® U, other food allergy training courses offered are AllerTrain® RA, AllerTrain® Canada, AllerTrain® Entity, and AllerTrain K12.

AllerTrain® RA is a gluten-free and food allergy training program designed for Resident Assistants (RA) living in a college or university dorm setting. Among the many responsibilities that RAs hold, one of their core duties is ensuring the safety of the students on their floor. With one in 13 students of school age having at least one food allergy, the likelihood that a campus RA will have a student on their floor with a food allergy is very high.

RAs will often be the first responders to allergy-related incidents. Through this food allergy training, they will learn the health implications food allergies have on their residents, how to identify common risk factors for students with food allergies on campus and in dining halls (and even in snacking in their rooms!), and be better prepared to handle emergency situations until medical professionals arrive.
