Pizzeria menu
It’s a hard knock life out there for a pizza company these days. Ever since the FDA passed their new regulations regarding menu labeling, it’s become important for all restaurants to work hard to meet the December 1, 2015 deadline.* And it’s, perhaps, hardest of all for pizza companies to keep up, given the strict rules around menu labeling for that favorite and oh-so-cheesy lunch and dinner item— pizza, of course. But, fear not, pizza restaurant owners, because MenuTrinfo’s come up with a way to solve all of your menu labeling woes.
In case you missed it, the FDA has very particular guidelines around how caloric information should be displayed at pizza restaurants. Caloric values for toppings on every size of pizza and with every different style of crust must be displayed, for example. And that all adds up to lots of variables and lots of nutritional value calculations.
But, we make it easy for you to see all of the nutritional information for those yummy recipes using our proprietary software. Our nutritional database was designed in-house and is in use only at MenuTrinfo. Through two expertly-engineered software processes:

  • Auto-generating of recipes
  • Auto-matching to specific ingredients

MenuTrinfo’s trained nutritionists can enter your recipes and calculate their nutritional value exponentially faster than any other company.
Recipes can be automatically imported into the database, and after, a trained Culinary Nutritionist will be able to make the proper ingredient matches based on the ingredient, cooking method and preparation. Once the match has been made, the database can automatically continue to match those same ingredients found in other recipes. This process saves countless hours of importing ingredient data and greatly improves accuracy. MenuTrinfo can then get you the needed caloric info, giving you more time to focus on those delicious pizzas!
This is great for pizza establishments due to the “build your own” aspect of pizza, but it can be useful to all sorts of restaurant types, really. In instances where consumers can create their own pizza or in any other topping-picking instance, the FDA dictates that you need caloric values for each individual topping. That could take a while to enter manually, but using our database, you’ll get accurate nutritional information, faster. The speed is key here, especially given the approaching deadline.
And should you decide to change a menu ingredient or start sourcing your pepperoni through a different company, for instance, it’s quick and easy to update your new recipe and ensure nutritional accuracy for the updated recipe, all thanks, again, to MenuTrinfo’s ground-breaking software.
With the help of MenuTrinfo, pizza lovers everywhere can rest assured that the nutritional information is accurate and meeting all FDA reasonable basis standards. Meanwhile, pizza company owners can rejoice, because MenuTrinfo will make the process easy for them. Good pizza and happy customers. It just doesn’t get better than that.
