Course Description:
Gluten- free and allergy free dining is the fastest growing market in the restaurant industry from increased diagnosis of allergies, intolerance’s, and celiac disease. This class inspires food service organizations to improve their food safety and allergen management standards and promote education and solutions for current food trends. Training On-Line consists of a Webinar lasting approx 75 minutes covering the following topics followed by a test:
Introduction, Allergens, Intolerance’s, Celiac Disease, Policy, Laws & Responsibilities, Standard Operating Procedures, Front of House, Back of House, Emergency Procedures, Case Study, Test, References.
Certification will be good for a period of 3 years.
On-Line Classes and Exams successfully launched 11/1/11. Class is currently certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration the credentialing agency for the American Dietetic Association. Provider KC939
